
Example 2 illustrates a design, which uses the World Wide Web to
link a number of PC servers. We will use the case of an Intranet.
Each server PC is gathering data from a similar type program as
example 1.
The PC's are located in different cities/sites. As in example 1,
the PC's in example two would have Www-LinkTM
installed on the PC. However in this example each PC in the different
city is a server on the Intranet. The master server would use a list
of links on a web page that would link the master server to the other servers.
This allows a user on the Intranet to access city/site by simply
viewing the web page to the master server.
